Introducing No Government Experience (NGE)
A forum for people with no government experience to share ideas and propose solutions for some of the problems we face in society today.
Hi. I’m Chris. I am a husband, father, entrepreneur, and person who gets angry every time I open a social media app. I’m tired of politics, and I’m tired of lowest common denominator discourse. Furthermore, I have no confidence in our elected leaders when it comes to developing effective solutions to the many problems we face in society today. I am certain I am not alone in these feelings.
Having started a business and sold it to a very large corporation (where I am still employed today), I think I have a somewhat unique perspective on how problems get solved, and I’ve had the fortune of meeting and learning from some unbelievably smart people. I also live in California, which is a lovely, insane place desperately in need of better ideas.
NGE will be a weekly newsletter, and each week I’ll interview someone who has been successful in business and has good ideas that we should listen to. I don’t care what that person’s political proclivities are, and we’re going to avoid talking about that. I only want to present and discuss ideas and evaluate them on their merit and feasibility. We will adhere to only one rule - that person will have had no government experience to date. I want to create a platform for big thinkers and problem solvers who have not been influenced by lobbying and are yet to have their soul crushed by bureaucracy.
